Czech Republic Stops Issuing Visas to Russian Tourists

In accordance with the declared emergency situation due to coronavirus in the Czech Republic, the country's government has decided to stop issuing visas to Russian tourists. The corresponding message was published on the website of the Czech Embassy in Russia.

 

 

"The Government of the Czech Republic has adopted a resolution on the adoption of a crisis measure. From 14 March 2020, all diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic, including visa centres, will suspend the acceptance of applications for Schengen visas and long-term visas. The measures also apply to family members of EU citizens," the statement said.

However, the department did not specify how long the restrictions would remain in effect.
