American tourist Peter James Hoffman attempted to jump out of a hotel window in Istanbul. The incident, as reported Milliyet, occurred on June 15, 2018, in one of Istanbul's hotels at 04:30.
According to available information, the tourist attempted suicide, under the influence of drugs. However, a rescue team managed to help the American citizen, and literally at the last moment, two police officers pulled him back into his hotel room.
The tourist was immediately taken to a local hospital. 0.5 grams of methanadolamine were seized from Hoffman's room.
The incident was recorded on a phone camera by one of the eyewitnesses.
