Ministry of Transport: The situation with the resumption of charter flights to Egypt has seen some progress.

After a long lull, news has resurfaced in the media about the possible resumption of charter flights to Egyptian resorts: as Russian Transport Minister Yevgeny Ditrikh told reporters, the Russian side is ready to discuss the issue of resuming flights with its Egyptian counterparts. charter flights from Russia to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh.

"If our Egyptian colleagues raise this question, we will be ready to answer them. This situation has now developed somewhat. We are currently discussing sending our commission there (to Egypt – editor's note) to inspect our Egyptian colleagues' readiness to ensure all security measures," said Yevgeny Ditrikh, responding to journalists' questions regarding negotiations on resuming charter flights to Egyptian resorts.
