A new charter program to China will launch in Yekaterinburg on September 18. Flights from Koltsovo Airport to Haikou (Hainan Island) will be operated by IrAero Airlines, commissioned by the tour operator Pearl River.
According to the Koltsovo Airport press service, flights on the Yekaterinburg-Haikou route are scheduled to operate once a week. Tourists will be transported on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft with a capacity of up to 371 passengers. Travel time is approximately seven hours.
Koltsovo Airport traditionally serves flights to Sanya, another airport on Hainan Island. Haikou, the capital of Hainan Island and the southern Chinese province of the same name, is a major tourist destination in China.
