Qatar Airways is planning to deploy its most modern aircraft on the route from Doha to Moscow. On different days, it will be served by Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350, Travel.ru's own correspondent reports.
These wide-body aircraft will appear on the third flight, which departs from Doha daily at 16:15, and from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 23:55. The first two flights of the day (at 2:50 and 6:45 from Doha and at 9:40 and 13:05 from Moscow) will continue to be served by narrow-body Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
The third flight has been operated for several years now by various versions of the Airbus A330. However, from March 31 to June 30, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is listed as the aircraft (it has already operated occasional flights to Moscow). In July, the Airbus A330 is again listed as the aircraft on this flight, but from August 1, the vast majority of flights are expected to be operated by Qatar Airways' most modern aircraft, the Airbus A350.
The change of aircraft will not result in significant changes to the seat supply on the third flight or the route as a whole. The upcoming winter schedule (from October 27) will again feature the Airbus A330, but it is likely that the winter schedule has simply not been adjusted yet. In addition, constant changes in the assignment of one or another aircraft model to specific routes are very typical for Qatar Airways.
There are currently roundtrip tickets available for a number of autumn and winter dates on the Moscow-Doha route for 22,325 rubles. Let us remind you that Russian citizens can visit Qatar without a visa, including during a transit stop in Doha on their way to a third country.
