A special police patrol with dogs has appeared in the historic center of Genoa in northern Italy. Law enforcement officers monitor the behavior of tourists and local residents as part of the Safe Streets project.

As reported by Italia po Russki, 30 police officers accompanied by German shepherds are patrolling the city centre.

Thus, the police stopped a tourist from Morocco who, while intoxicated, was urinating in the street. For uncivilized behavior, he was fined 3 thousand euros. Such tough measures are intended to make the center of Genoa more attractive to tourists.
