The opening ceremony of the Jiangsu Province Tourism Promotion Center, located in eastern China on the Yellow Sea coast, took place in Moscow. This region is little known to Russian tourists, but now, when planning a trip to China, they can learn all about the opportunities for recreation and excursions in Jiangsu.
The opening of the Center was accompanied by a conference to promote tourism in the province and the "Jiangsu – Land of Water Rhapsody" brand. Representatives from the Jiangsu Department of Culture and Tourism, the Chinese Embassy in Russia, the Moscow Department of International Relations and Tourism, and Russian tour operators serving China participated in the event.
Jiangsu authorities hope the opening of the center will increase tourism to the province and expect to welcome more tourists from Russia.
Jiangsu is one of China's most economically developed provinces, offering tourists modern infrastructure. The region's capital is Nanjing. The province is renowned for its magnificent lakes and peaceful rural landscapes. One of Jiangsu's most popular attractions is the 88-meter-tall Buddha statue, considered the largest bronze statue in the world.
