Skyscanner analyzed the prices for New Year flights and identified the destinations that will increase in price the most on the eve of the holidays: the maximum overpayment will reach 80%.
“By purchasing tickets at the beginning of autumn, travelers from Russia can avoid an average of 30% overpayments in December. The most noticeable difference in price is for long-haul destinations - the UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia and the USA - tickets to these countries for the New Year in December cost approximately 1.5-2 times more than in September," the company notes.
The top ten most expensive New Year's destinations for purchase in September also included Greece, Azerbaijan and Türkiye - for them in December, travelers will have to overpay 40-60%.
